Fitness Class Descriptions:

Butts & Guts

Catch this class on your lunch hour! This is a quick, 30-minute intense body sculpting workout concentrating primarily on strengthening the core muscles. These would include the abdominal, back and buttocks muscles. Please bring a floor mat and be ready to work. Instructor: Janet Harrouff

Fit Forever

This 45-minute class is designed with the active adult in mind. Participants can enjoy the benefits of strong muscles and joints through moderate weight training designed to improve balance, flexibility, joint stability, coordination, muscular strength and support. Please bring a floor mat. Instructor: Ty Hermesch, Bailey Flewelling or Josie Harrison

Fit Forever Plus* (Optional 10-20 minutes directly following Fit Forever class)

Core Madness - Tuesdays
Join us for a quick but effective core session that focuses on three commonly neglected areas: abdominal, oblique and lower back muscles. This 10-20 minute, high-intensity addition will help you build stability and strength, while improving posture and overall quality of life.

Cardio Madness - Thursdays
Stick around for a 10-20 minute session that aims to improve cardio-respiratory endurance. It is a fast-paced session that makes high-intensity training fun. Enjoy the upbeat atmosphere while increasing strength, stamina and improving your heart health.


Swat Team (Strength, Weight loss, Agility & Toning)

This 45-minute, early morning class is full-body strength training with cardio intervals. Designed to tone, improve endurance and clear your mind. All fitness levels welcome. Bring an exercise mat. Meet at ESU Stadium, weather permitting. Enter on the east side. Alt location: ERC Fitness Studio. Instructors: Janet Harrouff or Leslee Euler

Yoga

Enjoy a relaxing series of stretches created to help your flexibility, range of motion, balance and posture. This 60-minute, yoga-inspired stretching class focuses on breathing techniques and relaxation. Please bring a floor mat. Instructors: Natalie Savage, E-RYT 500, YACEP and TRE Certified, or Molly Woods-Otto

Mat Pilates

This mat-based Pilates class focuses on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Pilates is a class for all fitness levels! FitFusion Xpress

FitFusion Xpress is a condensed 45 minute high-energy blend of cardio, strengthening, and stretching exercises for those looking for a quick evening workout. This class is great for all fitness levels and is taught to fun, upbeat music! Instructors: Kim Cook
