About ERC Wellness Center
Welcome to Emporia Recreation Wellness Center! We have a collection of cardio equipment and selectorized weight machines from top fitness manufacturers such as Precor and NuStep. We also have a variety of other exercise tools such as kettlebells, medicine and exercise balls, plyometric boxes and more. Not sure how to use the Fitness equipment correctly? Our Wellness Center staff will show you how to program the cardiovascular equipment, explain to you the proper use of the weight equipment, and help set you up on a workout program.
In our Fitness Studio upstairs, you can create your own workout in a semi-private space featuring Plyo Boxes, Bosu Balls,Yoga Blocks, Battle Ropes, TRX Bands and a bluetooth-equipped Surround Sound system. This area is first-come, first served and is unavailable during fitness classes. Check the Fitness Class schedule for times.
All this is included in your membership along with our fitness classes, access to the fitness studio, walking track, aquatics and gym.
Strength Training
We offer the Precor Line of single station strength training equipment for a full body workout. Check out the instructional videos below for demos of each machine. You can always ask our knowledgable staff for help as well.
