Open since 1960, Camp Wilson, Emporia’s longest running Day Camp, is an outdoor adventure day camp where kiddos can take a break from their screens and be active outdoors! Day campers will learn team building and core values along with outdoor activities. Campers will also enjoy their favorites like
fishing and swimming with nature- themed activities. Every week campers will have a full day of outdoor adventure that will create memories that last a lifetime. Camp Wilson will be supervised by qualified leaders 18 years or older with a minimum of ten hours of KDHE-approved training and experience working with children. Staff will practice social distancing and frequent hand washing to keep everyone safe. Campers will need to be dropped off and picked up at Wilson Park, located on the Emporia State University Campus. We will take field trips to Peter Pan Park for more outdoor activities.
All required forms will be available online at www.emporiarec.org or at the Emporia Recreation Center. Forms must be turned in before first day of camp or your child will not be able to attend.
