Adult Softball Leagues are designed for recreational purposes to
encourage participation and enjoyment. The Emporia Recreation Center
reserves the right to combine leagues, waive minimums, increase
maximums and change game locations to fully utilize each team’s
participation. Full payment is required at registration to insure your
team a spot in the league. Emporia Recreation will not supply softballs
for league play. Teams will supply their own softballs for each game
and will hit their own ball.

Hit the Pavers for Lifesavers!
Each summer, new lifeguards must pay $150 to learn necessary
lifeguarding skills. Often, this cost is a barrier for young people
seeking their first job and also reduces the number of qualified
lifeguards available for hire at the Jones Aquatic Center. Registration
fees from this run will go to a scholarship fund we created to offset
costs for this required certification. All registrants will receive a
Lifesavers Kit to utilize during the run. This is also a Super Series
Race! Hit the Pavers for our Lifesavers and keep working on your
Super Series Finish.
Registration Deadline: May 10
Dates: May 28-June 4
