Join us to learn more about the life cycle of our native plants and animals, and how they survive during the fall and winter months. We will explore natural areas such as Campus Woods, King Lake and the native plant gardens around ESU’s Prophet Aquatic Research & Outreach Center to make observations and better understand the living world that surrounds us! Participants will learn about the variety of strategies that plants and animals use to survive colder months such as migration, dormancy and hibernation among many

other interesting behaviors and adaptations. From hiking and exploring, to recreating metamorphosis into dramatic skit or art project, we will encourage individuals to think more deeply about the

wonders that live right outside our doors. *Please bring a sack lunch for each day.
