Fitness Video Experience     How would you like to enjoy a fitness class workout anytime you want? Introducing “Fitness Video Experience”, come workout to your favorite fitness videos. The fitness room will have a variety of fitness videos for your use or you may bring your own. Stop in and talk to a fitness room instructor about this exciting new program.

SWAT Team (Strength, Weight loss, Agility & Toning)   Early Mornings Starting Monday, January 8 Mon/Wed/Fri 5:30– 6:15 am                              Energize during this early morning total body, heart pumping, and strength conditioning workout. This 45-minute, 8-week class combines full-body strength training with cardio intervals.  This class is designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind before your busy day gets started. All fitness levels welcome. COUCH TO 5K:   Evenings Starting January 8 (Session 1) and March 5 (Session 2)    Mon/Wed/Thurs  4:30pm or 5:30pm       Do you want to be a runner? We can make it happen! This program takes you- one step at a time- from a non-runner to someone who can finish a 5K. Three days a week for 45 minutes will transition you from the couch to walking to running over 9 weeks. We will finish by running either the Leprechaun Dash on March 17 or the ERC Birthday Bash on April 29!  We will be inside on the ERC jogging track when it’s cold then move outside in warmer weather.                           Instructor: Amanda Gutierrez               $45/9 weeks or Daily Drop-In $3.00

Sit & Sculpt: Tuesday/Thursday 11:15-12:00pm   Get fit and have fun while you use a chair for this 45 minute exercise class. Weights, resistance tubes, and ball will be used for resistance, and a chair will be used for seated and/or standing support. This class will consist of a combination of aerobic training, strength building and flexibility exercises. Suitable for all ages and levels.   Instructor: Aaron Hammond       $3.00 Daily Drop-In or FREE with your Fitness Membership or ERC Class Pass

Yoga: M-F mornings @ 10:00am   Enjoy a relaxing series of stretches inspired to help your flexibility, range of motion, balance and posture. This 60 minute yoga-inspired stretching class focuses on breathing techniques and relaxation. Butts & Guts: This is a quick 30-minute intense body sculpting workout concentrating primarily on strengthening the core muscles including: abdominal, back and buttocks muscles. Fit Forever: You are never too old to obtain a healthier lifestyle from exercise. This 45-minute class is designed with the active adult in mind. People age 55 and older can enjoy the benefits of strong muscles and joints through moderate weight training. Join us for a variety of exercises that are designed to improve balance, flexibility, joint stability, coordination, muscular strength and support; the skills needed for your daily life activities. Please bring a floor mat and be ready for a head to toe workout.

Core Madness: Having a strong core is a must. This 30 minute class using Pilates exercises will help develop core strength, longer, leaner muscles and will teach precise control in all movements. This class is done barefoot or in your socks and you will need an exercise mat. Feel the burn!

Fitness/Wellness Assessments

Body Composition      We all know how important it is to keep a check on our body fat because of heart disease and diabetes; just to name a couple. With just a 7 second test you can check your improvement with the “Body Fat Analyzer”.   Ask a fitness center instructor for assistance.

Blood Pressure         Reduce stress, eat smart, cut salt intake, and exercise; these are all ways to help lower blood pressure.  The fitness room provides a self-testing blood pressure machine for your use.  Ask a fitness center instructor for assistance.

Fitness Assessments           The fitness assessment is designed to educate individuals about their current level of fitness.  Whether you are a beginner or advanced exerciser, testing at regular intervals will help keep you on track and allow you to see positive results.  The test includes: Body Composition, Cardiovascular Endurance, Flexibility, Muscular Strength & Endurance.

ESU Personal Training         Are you seeing the results you want with your current fitness plan? Would you be interested in trying a new individualized program? ERC will partner with ESU Health Promotions students to offer one-on-one training. With the help of your ESU trainer, you will establish fitness goals and train to achieve those goals. Your trainer will perform fitness assessments before and after your 6-week session to measure your improvements. You get the personal attention you deserve and they get the experience they need.

Downsizing for a Discount          Living healthy and losing weight does not have to be a difficult process. This program  is meant to help you determine and achieve a healthy weight and above all, maintain a healthy lifestyle.  At the end of this 3-month program, when the participant has lost the required 5 pounds per month, you will receive a 10% discount off your next membership.

Keepin’ the Pace         This is a program to help you stay motivated to get fit! Win prizes for reaching goals by keeping track of your cardiovascular and aquatic workout minutes. The harder you work, the better the prizes. Join the fun and get fit at the same time.
